Project Abstract
In truth, we live in an affluent country. U.S. citizens have a high per capita income and purchase more goods than most other countries. Still, community psychologists have not explored the impact of excessive possessions (i.e., clutter) across the U.S. In this project, we examined levels of Clutter Quality of Life of citizens living in each of the four mainland U.S. regions to ascertain whether citizens in some regions are more negatively impacted by their amount of stuff.
