Abstract
The study examined the content of job descriptions in municipal government and compared the content to the recommendations in the literature. The study also examined the agreement between job descriptions and job analysis. It found that the position held by the person completing a job analysis form moderates the agreement between the job description and job analysis. The study also found that the type of job influences the agreement between the job description and the job analysis.
