Abstract
The rapid development of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and continuing establishment of regulatory structures allowing their commercial employment signals a change in the way industry, academia, and government will leverage the technology. There are many potential synergies between various applications, aircraft models, and sensor types as the transition from research and development to common operations progresses. This presentation highlights the current state of airspace integration and potential cross-over between various unmanned applications, technologies, and training and education best-practices.
