Abstract
William Sheldon served under James Richardson for six years and offers his memories of Richardson as a superior general in this short article. Among other things, Sheldon recalls Richardson’s work ethic and the leadership he displayed in forming the new constitutions of the Congregation and the Daughters of Charity.
