Description from the Everyday Suspects exhibition catalog - "Elahi performed Writing the Unknown, July 17, 2014, at the closing reception for Everyday Suspects [Chicago Artists Coalition, Chicago, IL]. Elahi wrote the names of 14 more identified dead from a CIA drone strike in North Waziristan, Pakistan, on June 12, 2014. North Waziristan, a region roughly the size of the state of New Jersey, has been the main target of the CIA led drone strikes. This data is taken from the Bureau of Investigative Journalism Naming the Dead Project."
