"This group of work explores diversity in materials such as porcelain, glazes & underglazes, wool felt, silk fabric, cotton canvas, wood, 3d printed plastic objects, construction foam, rendering foam, acrylic paint, etc. Each building block, derived from logic or chance, is put together to become a geometric abstract composition resembling an early stage of an abstract/ambiguous architectural model or primordial architectonic structure. While I investigate sculptural relationships of volume, surface, balance and tension, I contemplate the concept of natural balance, the unification of opposites and the interdependence of all things."
