Aims & Scope
M. Cherif Bassiouni, an influential voice in international criminal law and international human rights law, co-founded the DePaul University College of Law International Human Rights Law Institute (IHRLI) in 1990. IHRLI creates a clinical learning environment for DePaul law students, and has recently expanded to support the new International Human Rights Law Journal. Students formed the Journal in 2014 to expose and promote awareness of global human rights issues through academic scholarship.
IHRLJ aims to publish timely articles relating to international human rights law, international humanitarian law, international criminal law, post conflict justice and international development.
