Volume 10 brings focus to the state of U.S.-Latin American relations, following the emergence of new political leadership taking root across Latin America to protect and share natural resources, preserve regional sovereignty, to strengthen fragile democracies and reject U.S. interventionism. Articles range from historical, political, socio-economic, and literary approaches, discussing U.S-Latin American relations in the Bush Era; the making of the Emergency Network of Cuban American Scholars and Artists for Change in U.S.-Cuba Policy (ENCASA); Hugo Chávez and Venezuelan foreign policy; and the categorizing of drug diplomacy in U.S.-Latin American relations.
