Abstract
Trisubstituted Ethylene (TSE) monomers, ring substituted 2-phenyl-1, 1-dicyanoethylenes are synthesized by knoevenagel condensation of ring substituted benzaldehyde with malononitrite, catalyzed by piperidine. TSE monomers are copolymerized with system by radical chain polymerization.
