Focus and Scope
Behind the Scenes: Journal of Theatre Production Practice is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal focusing on the technical and production aspects of live performance. This journal aims to encourage the advancement of research into performing arts production processes. We actively invite discourse from researchers and practitioners with an academic interest in the theory of production practice.
Section Policies
Articles
Manuscripts should be at least 3000 words and not more than 6000 words in length, excluding references.
All articles should follow the APA style and referencing guide, with all illustrations, figures and tables placed within the text at appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Peer Review Process
All submissions will be initially screened by editors and, if successful in the pre-screening, reviewed by at least two anonymous reviewers. We will strive to provide reviewer feedback within three months.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
