Abstract
The Weitz Family Foundation of Omaha recently elevated the Visual Art Education program at DePaul’s College of Education with a gift that establishes a new endowed chair and supports the program’s pioneering Stockyard Institute. Katie Weitz, the foundation’s executive director, shares how her own education, and her family’s charitable efforts, have been impacted by the Stockyard Institute’s community-engagement initiatives.
