Abstract

Concerns about our health have taken center stage in countries around the world. Even before the novel coronavirus emerged, DePaul University was focusing on the need for research and education centered on the health sciences. This issue of DePaul Magazine looks at such timely and urgent topics as traumatic brain injury, nursing, speech language pathology, occupational health and heart disease. It also provides an update on DePaul's response to COVID-19 and the opening of a completely renovated space for opera performance. Please enjoy the summer 2020 issue of DePaul Magazine.
