Abstract

Chatillon-sur-Charlaronne, known as Chatillon-les-Dombes in Vincent de Paul’s day, was the location of the first Confraternity of Charity. A history of the town is given, along with descriptions of its important sites, including Vincent’s home. A chronology of his time there is also included. Twenty-eight images accompany the text.
