Description

Libraries transform teaching:

  • Coordinates the Library’s Special Collections Instruction Program which is designed to give students the opportunity to engage with primary sources, discover meaning in the documents, and share findings with their peers.
  • Collaborated on the Library’s Annual Learning Assessment Project to evaluate the impact of instruction on “artifactual literacy,” which includes the ability to identify and analyze primary sources.
  • Recently co-led an opportunity for the Chicago Area Archivists to share practices for active learning pedagogy, backward design principles, and collaborative learning techniques as presented at Dartmouth’s Librarians Active Learning Institute-Archives and Special Collections (LALI-ASC).
