Profile of Mabel “Dolly” Staton (EDU ’55), a track athlete who became a member of the first interracial track team in the Midwestern United States, competed in the long jump in1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki, Finland, and became the first African American to be hired at Paulsboro High School in New Jersey.
