Abstract

Karen Atwood (MBA '82) joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois as a junior staff accountant and found herself part of an organization that has held her interest for the long term, rising to the position of president. She is involved in many civic organizations and since 2010, has served on DePaul University's Board of Trustees.
